About our Honey

At West-Bee Honey we specialise in producing pure honey derived from flora that simply isn’t available anywhere else in Australia. Our honey is produced by bees that roam freely across the clean, fresh lakes and mountains of Tasmania.

“A bee’s natural instinct is to fly from blossom to blossom in search of nectar and pollen.” DAVID Gibson, Apiarist

We place our hives in acquired registered sites in Tasmanian Forestry & National Park areas within close proximity to Tasmania’s native endemic flora. This includes flora from Leatherwood (Eucryphia Lucida) and the Manuka Bush (Leptospermum scoparium).

“Tasmania has such a unique ecology that our honey is made from flora that simply isn’t available anywhere else in the world.”

DAVID Gibson, Apiarist
